Dr. Aguilera enjoys practicing the full scope of dentistry and has a special interest in cosmetic and preventative dentistry. She enjoys taking an active and personal role in her patients’ oral health. Developing strong relationships and utilizing the latest technology, materials and techniques is to paramount to Dr. Aguilera for providing excellent dental care.
After graduating cum laude from Georgia College with a major in Chermistry and minor in Music, she received her dental degree from Medical College of Georgia in 2009. She participated in multiple research projects, presentations and publications in both Chemistry and Dentistry. In 2009, she was awarded a research grant from the Academy of Operative Dentistry for her project on Antioxidant Effect on Minocylcine Staining of Teeth and she was awarded the Excellence in TMJ and Occlusion from the Equilibration Society. She is committed to continuing education by being participating in the Spear Education Study club, the Hinman Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, Georgia Dental Association, Northwestern Dental Society, and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Aguilera grew up in Winchester, TN and has lived in Georgia for more than 15 years. She enjoys spending time with her family, her husband Carlos, and her kids Luke and Eva. In her spare time, she enjoys running, reading, dancing and traveling.
